Susan Gregor — Therapy in Motion

Treatments & approaches

I draw from several therapeutic traditions and blend them to suit the person in front of me. Every client is different, and the approach we use will be shaped by what you bring, what you're hoping for, and what you respond to.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Structured, evidence-based therapy that helps you identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop practical coping skills. Often short to medium term.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

Skills-based approach for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness and interpersonal effectiveness. Particularly helpful for intense emotions.

Person-Centred Counselling

A warm, non-directive space where you set the agenda. I listen, reflect and walk alongside you rather than lead.

Trauma-Focused Therapy

Gentle, paced work for PTSD, complex trauma, and the after-effects of abuse. We move only as quickly as feels safe.

Christian Counselling

For clients who would like their faith to be part of the therapeutic conversation. Optional — only if it's right for you.

Transactional Analysis

Explore the patterns and "scripts" that shape how you relate to yourself and others.
